Stephanie Lamy is a professional freelance photographer working in various
areas including sports & society and culture. From September 2001 until
January 2004, she has been based in Auckland, New Zealand. She is currently
based in France which allows her to travel easily around Europe.
She has clicked pictures of some of the world's famous sporting people and teams such as the America's cup teams of Alinghi and Team New Zealand, the All Blacks, the New Zealand Taekwon-Do Team, the Silver Ferns (World Netball Champions), Tennis and Rally stars and many more.
She has supplied many leading publications, such as SeaHorse (eng), L'Hebdo (sui), Paris Match (fra), Le Matin (sui), Voiles&Voiliers (fra), King's (fra), Schweitzer Illustrierte (sui), to name a few.
She chose sport as the context in which to work because it has always provided her with balance. She also likes to concentrate on the people and, sport being rich, aesthetic, intense and varied has allowed her to capture the images that she wanted.
